Swinging Terms


There are many ways to involve yourself in swinging activities, some are specialised, i.e fetish, but others are activities you will see at most parties.  Below are some terms used in swinging.

 

Couple on Couple – This is by far the most common activity in the swinging scene.  Most couples want to meet other couples in order to share each others partners.  This is usually done on the same bed or in close proximity so everyone can enjoy each others pleasure.  Ultimately it is group sex, for some it is a straight swap for others it is indulging in women to women whilst being pleasure by each others partners too.

Orgies - Usually involves a group of 4 or more people interacting sexually.

Threesomes - Threesomes are common for couples either with a male or female.  Some couples prefer   threesomes, especially if the girl is straight, she may wish to indulge with two guys, equally if the female is very bisexual, and doesn’t wish to play with additional males, they want to meet single females. In threesomes, all three people may interact, or two people may interact with the other.

Bisexual -  Means someone likes to indulge in sex with both male and females. True to say it is more common in women than men in the swinging scene, but not all women who swing are bisexual either.  Man on man is very rare in the swinging scene, unless you attend specialist parties or arrange private meets where both male partners are bisexual.

Voyeurism - This is when you watch others having sex but do not participate. This is fairly common in the open play areas of parties, and some people enjoy just watching others having sex.

BDSM / Fetish -  These are rare at swinging parties unless it is a themed night or specially organised events.  BDSM covers a wide variety of things such as spanking, whipping, bondage, cuffing. Fetish is covers an even bigger spectrum from foot fetishes to dressing up to discipline etc.
