• Private parties can be daunting, because all the people you have connected with either over the internet or through other sources are coming together to meet for real.  Some people may not be as you expected and you may feel a little disappointed.
   

• Parties can be excellent fun but equally they could turn out to be quite a pressurised environment if you are new.  By this I mean that you may not know what is expected of you.
